Option 3 - Training For Work
If you are over 18 and have been registered unemployed for 26 weeks or more, you may be eligible for Training For Work - vocational training with a possibility of qualifications, which might include training at a local college or training centre plus work placements with local employers. Training for Work is available in a variety of other circumstances, for example if you have a disability or want to start your own business.

Entry to New Deal for people who have been registered unemployed for less than six months may be possible for those with disabilities, ex-offenders, and others who may be disadvantaged in seeking work. Staff at Employment Service Job Centres will be happy to discuss this further.
